Corey Odom Recieves the Teacher of the Year Award

Corey Odom, an MATC Adult High School instructor for thirty years, was selected as the Teacher of the Year by Local 212's Civil and Human Rights Committee. The award was presented by the Department of Public Instruction's Deborah Mahaffey who was representing Superintendent of Public Instruction, Libby Burmaster. Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Common Council President Willie Hines were among the 150 people who gathered to acknowledge Mr. Odom.
