The above policy describes the new pay program. There is no mention of a summer pay cut (unlike the pay policy that existed prior to August 1, 2024)

The above guide provided by MATC Human Resources to PT Faculty for comparing the two pay systems states:

12. The new model has the advantage that no participating Part-Time Faculty will incur a pay reduction for summer teaching. In the current pay system, Part-Time Faculty have a 7% reduction in their pay.

PT Faculty and Faculty leads asked questions in virtual meetings about the summer pay under the new PT Faculty Pay program, and HR provided verbal and written answers that confirmed that summer pay for those in the new system would not be reduced.
