Remembering Freddie Arocho-Perez

Beverly Johnson remembers Freddie as her “hallway buddy” on the sixth floor, whose smile, friendly greetings, and warm personality brightened her day. She often saw him preparing for class and could hear the passion and energy he brought to his classroom. Even as his health began to change, Freddie’s kindness never faded, and he continued to greet her with his familiar warm "Hello." Freddie was more than a colleague, he was a special part of Beverly’s routine, bringing light and warmth to the hallway through simple moments of connection. His absence will be felt, but his colleagues will always remember his smile, his spirit, and the kindness he shared with everyone around him.
